Last March, during the World Ski Jumping Championships in Trondheim (Norway), a case of cheating shook the world. Playing on home soil, the Norwegian coaches were caught red-handed altering their athletes’ suits, an action that has been banned for several seasons.

Directly suspended by the Norwegian Ski Association, Magnus Brevig, Adrian Livelten and Thomas Lobben were still awaiting a decision on their fate at a time when summer preparations had been underway for several days. However, on Thursday, there was a real breakthrough in the case.
While the investigation is still in full swing, the three coaches have seen their adventure with their employer come to an end. As reported by our colleagues at VG, the Scandinavian managers have dismissed the trio. This news should enable the Scandinavian team to start afresh with a new trio ahead of a crucial Olympic season.
