19:49. Early on Saturday evening, the Austrian Summer Ski Jumping Championships took place on the legendary Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze ski jump in Bischofshofen (Austria).
Jan Hoerl (133 and 135 metres) won the men’s competition to take the gold medal ahead of Manuel Fettner (138 and 135 metres) and Jonas Schuster (141.5 and 141 metres), in the lead at the halfway stage. Daniel Tschofenig (139.5 and 131 metres) had to be content with fourth place and Stefan Kraft (138.5 and 124.5 metres) with ninth after missing a second jump.
On the women’s side, Lisa Eder (122 and 125.5 metres) won by a wide margin, while Chiara Kreuzer (117.5 and 120.5 metres) was silver and Hannah Wiegele (114 and 122.5 metres) bronze.
