On Wednesday, the Austrian ski jumpers made their first snow jumps of the season in Lillehammer (Norway), where the World Cup opens this Friday with a mixed competition. However, the training went badly for Daniel Huber, who felt pain in his right knee.
Although he did not fall, the Salzburg native will return to Austria on Thursday for further tests, including an MRI scan, Ski Austria announced in a press release. Maximilian Ortner, 22, will take his place in the opening squad for the 2024/2025 World Cup.
