The first FIS Cup ski jumping competition took place in Eisenerz (Austria) on Saturday. On home soil, the Austrians dominated the competition with an eight-peat. It was Raffael Zimmermann (106 and 102.5 metres) who won this competition, which saw a number of stops due to the wind. Francisco Moerth (99.5 and 109 metres) took second place. The podium was completed by Ulrich Wohlgenannt (105.5 and 101.5 metres).

In the French camp, Julien Gay took twentieth place (97.5 and 101 metres). The other French competitors failed to reach the final round: Sébastien Woodbridge (86.5 metres) was thirty-second, Nathan Lecourt (77 metres) fiftieth, Abel Clevy (79 metres) fifty-first, Lorenzo Mugnier Cava (76 metres) fifty-fifth, Amaël Marx (72.5 metres) fifty-sixth, Matti Delaup (72 metres) fifty-seventh and Maxence Rivière (69.5 metres) sixtieth.
