While the first FIS Cup ski jumping competition in Kandersteg (Switzerland), scheduled for Saturday evening, was cancelled due to the wind, the competition scheduled for Sunday morning went ahead.
While Austria’s Simon Steinberger (111.5 and 107 metres) dominated proceedings on this HS106 ahead of his compatriot Niklas Bachlinger (105 and 104.5 metres) and local rider Yanick Wasser (107 and 106.5 metres), two Frenchmen made it through to the final round.
They were Jules Chervet (99 and 92.5 metres), twenty-sixth, andAri Repellin (105 and 96 metres), twenty-eighth. Julien Gay (99 metres) was thirty-third, Alessandro Batby (94 metres) forty-seventh, Anoki Pouradier (89.5 metres) fifty-sixth and Faustin Moureaux (84 metres) fifty-ninth.
