19:43. Late on Friday, the first competition of the men’s FIS Cup ski jumping competition took place in Klingenthal (Germany). While the Austrians scored a quadruple victory with Johannes Poelz (130.5 and 133.5 metres), the French team placed four athletes in the final round.

Among them, Enzo Milesi (126.5 and 128 metres), sixth, and Louis Obersteiner (twice 123.5 metres), tenth, made it into the top 10. Ari Repellin (118.5 and 119.5 metres) was twenty-second and Alessandro Batby (123 and 120 metres) twenty-third.
Finally, Faustin Moureaux (116 metres), thirty-fourth, and Julien Gay (114.5 metres), thirty-fifth, were out in the first heat.
