12:12. The Austrians once again ruled the roost in the second FIS Cup ski jumping competition in Villach (Austria) on Sunday. Although Germany’s Lasse Deimel (249.8 points and 93/97 metres) took second place, eight members of the Austrian team were in the top 10. Jakob Steinberger (251.2 pts and 96/95.5 m) took the top step of the podium, as he had done on Saturday. His compatriot Francisco Moerth (245.3 pts and 92.5/94.5 m) followed in third place.
As on the previous day, only Anoki Pouradier (219.8 pts and 87.5/88.5 m) made it into the top 30 for France, coming 23rd in the final. As for the other French athletes, Julien Gay (92.2 pts and 85.5 m) finished 43rd, Nathan Lecourt (86.6 pts and 81 m) 54th, Faustin Moureaux (84.7 pts and 83 m) 55th, Abel Clevy (83.5 pts and 80.5 m) 57th and Maxence Rivière (75 pts and 78 m) 64th.
