On Monday evening, qualifying for the first round of the Two Nights Tour, the women’s ski jumping tour, took place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany). On the German Olympic ski jump, only the first thirty athletes qualified for Tuesday’s competition (to form 15 KO systems).
They include Chaunière’s Joséphine Pagnier (120 metres). Having struggled before Christmas in Engelberg (Switzerland), she managed to pick up the pace to finish twenty-fourth and will now face Lisa Eder (130 metres) in her KO system. Emma Chervet (104 metres), forty-seventh, did not fare so well.

Victory in this qualifying round went to Germany’s Selina Freitag (132.5 metres), who won just ahead of Eirin Maria Kvandal (135 metres), Nika Prevc (127.5 metres), Katharina Schmid (125.5 metres) and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (135.5 metres).
