The German individual summer ski jumping championships took place this Saturday evening in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany). On the Grosse Olympiaschanze used for the Four Tremplines Tour, Andreas Wellinger (143.5 and 143 metres) proved to be a cut above his compatriots, putting more than 13 points in the sights of silver medallist Karl Geiger (138 and 139.5 metres).
Pius Paschke (134.5 and 137 metres) took bronze a breath ahead of Philipp Raimund (135 and 136 metres).
On the women’s side, Katharina Schmid (123 and 132.5 metres) claimed her seventh career national title, ahead of Selina Freitag (120 and 129 metres) and Juliane Seyfarth (122 and 120.5 metres).
