This Sunday morning, as part of the women’s ski jumping world cup in Zao (Japan), a second individual competition was held. To round off this two-week Japanese tour, victory went to Austria’s Jacqueline Seifriedsberger.
In the lead at the end of the first round with a jump at 99 metres, she held her ground by landing at 94.5 metres on her second jump. She finished ahead of Norway’s Eirin Maria Kvandal (97.5 and 92 metres) and Nika Prevc (94 and 98 metres), who won the first Japanese competition on Friday. The Slovenian thus consolidates her yellow bib ahead of Katharina Schmid (87 and 83 metres), only twelfth on the day.
In the French competition, Joséphine Pagnier (81 and 83.5 metres), finished twenty-second, while Emma Chervet from Chamonix (79.5 metres) was thirty-second.
