On Monday, when the French selection for the Ski Jumping World Cup in Lillehammer (Norway) scheduled for this weekend was unveiled, four jumpers were present for three places. After training on site over the last few days, the French staff decided to put Jules Chervet on the sidelines, French teams director Etienne Gouy told Nordic Magazine.
Valentin Foubert, Enzo Milesi and Ari Repellin will be competing in the individual competitions scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. This is a major first at this level for the latter two.
“For tomorrow’s mixed team event, the coaches will decide after the official [training] jump,” explains the Dauphinois about the two jumpers who will accompany Joséphine Pagnier and Emma Chervet in this first competition of the winter.
