17:46 As the new ski jumping season opens in a few weeks, Klemens Muranka has decided to end his sports career in recent days. This decision comes as the Pole had already completed a large part of his preparation with his national team.

“I had planned to do this for at least two or three seasons. I discovered that it became increasingly difficult to find the motivation each year,” he confides to Skijumping.pl. “My hip problems also limited my range of motion. My body was no longer functioning physically and mentally, and jumping no longer gave me enough pleasure to continue.”
During his career, the thirty-year-old jumper has totaled one hundred and nineteen World Cup starts for a podium, but he also won a bronze medal at the 2015 World Championships in the team event in Falun (Sweden).
