16:46. This Friday afternoon, the Summer Ski Jumping Grand Prix in Klingenthal (Germany) opened with the women’s qualifying round. On the HS140 at the Vogtland Arena, Slovenian favourite Nika Prevc (134.5 metres) won, beating Kurumi Ichinohe (133 metres) by almost 13 points.
Abigail Strate (127 metres) completed the podium, while Nozomi Maruyama (121.5 metres), wearing the yellow bib, took eleventh place just behind Norway’s Gyda Westvold Hansen (122 metres).
For the French, Joséphine Panier (105.5 metres), thirty-seventh,and Emma Chervet (112 metres), thirty-ninth, narrowly qualify for the last summer competition of the year, scheduled for this Saturday.
