The women’s ski jumping world cup came to a close on Friday with the competition on the Lahti stage ( Finland). And as on the previous day, it was once again Nika Prevc who crushed the two heats. Already in the lead in the first, with a lead of more than 20 points over her nearest rival, the Slovenian did not waver in the second.

With jumps of 128 and 133.5 metres, the young woman who celebrated her 20th birthday just a few days ago not only claimed her tenth success in a row, but also took the opportunity to set a new record by winning by a total of 51.4 points ahead of Selina Freitag (115 and 124.5 metres), who was once again second ahead of Ema Klinec (117 and 125 metres).

Back in the top 20 on Thursday evening, Joséphine Pagnier put in another fine performance to break into the day’s top 15. By landing at 116.5 and 117 metres, the Frenchwoman finished fourteenth and equalled her best result of the season, which she had already achieved in Zao (Japan), Ljubno (Slovenia) and Hinzenbach (Austria).
