King of the 2024 world junior ski jumping championships in Planica (Slovenia) with three gold medals, Austrian Stephan Embacher is starting the 2025 edition in the same way.

On Thursday evening in Lake Placid (USA), he retained his individual world champion crown after a magnificent duel with American Tate Frantz (95.5 and 98.5 metres). With two jumps at 95.5 and 96 metres, Stephan Embacher beat his American rival by just 4 tenths of a point to win gold. His compatriot Simon Steinberger (95 and 97 metres) was 2.8 points behind.

For France, Faustin Moureaux from Savoie (82 and 80 metres) qualified for the final round, where he took thirtieth place. Courchevel’s Anoki Pouradier (77 metres), only 16 years old, took thirty-sixth place in his first appearance at the World Junior Championships.
Last but not least, we should note the fifty-fourth place of Korawik Saendee from Thailand (67 metres), aged 15.
