On Saturday afternoon, the first men’s competition of the weekend took place at the Ski Jumping World Cup in Lake Placid (USA). In a competition marked by difficult wind conditions, it was Norway’s Johann Andre Forfang who came out on top with jumps of 130.5 and 121 metres. It was his first win of the season after four runner-up finishes.

He beat the Austrians Jan Hoerl (125.5 and 122.5 metres) and Daniel Tschofenig (122.5 and 125 metres).

Courchevel’s Valentin Foubert (119 and 110.5 metres) took twenty-third place.
