This Friday saw the qualifying round of the first women’s ski jumping world cup competition in Ljubno (Slovenia). On the HS94 hill, Nika Prevc (95 metres) won on home soil. She beat the Germans Katharina Schmid (94.5 metres) and Selina Freitag (89.5 metres).

In the French camp, Joséphine Pagnier took seventeenth place with a jump of 81 metres. Emma Chervet from Chamonix (76.5 metres) also moved up, taking thirty-third place.
Canadian Alexandria Loutitt, winner in Sapporo (Japan) and on the podium in Lake Placid (USA), did not start.
