16:59. The 2026 French U17 ski jumping and Nordic combined championships were held in Courchevel (Savoie) on Saturday. In the men’s special jump, Louis Atchekguezian (92 and 97.5 metres) won ahead of Lorenzo Mugnier Cava (90.5 and 95.5 metres) and David Barkats Brandina (88 and 91 metres).
The favourite, Capucine Mesnil (85 and 87.5 metres) won the women’s gold ahead of Lou Alaphilippe (87 and 84.5 metres) and Laly Pingat (80.5 and 77.5 metres). In the team event, the Savoie committee (Carl Alaphilippe, Jame Magnant-Gaillou, Lorenzo Mugnier Cava, Louis Atchenkguezian) was crowned champion.
In Nordic combined, Robin Delval won the U17 national title ahead of Gaby Vandel and Manek Obez. No medals were awarded in the women’s event due to a lack of competitors: Laly Pingat won ahead of Aziloë Cahu.
