Ski jumping | Nordic Combined: Italian championships… in Austria
Held in Villach (Austria) while the ski jumps in Predazzo (Italy) undergo a facelift ahead of the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games, the Italian summer championships in ski jumping and nordic combined delivered their verdict on Sunday.
In the ski jumping, the women’s title went to Annika Sieff. With jumps of 95 and 94.5 metres on this HS98, she beat Lara Malsiner (90 and 92 metres) by almost 20 points. Martina Ambrosi (87.5 and 88.5 metres) took bronze.

On the men’s side, Alex Insam (97 and 96.5 metres) was the logical winner. Silver Francesco Cecon (93.5 and 90.5 metres) was pushed back 23 lengths, while Andrea Campregher (91 and 86 metres) completed the podium.
In the nordic combined, with a ski-wheel race held in the afternoon, Aaron Kostner, ahead of Raffaele Buzzi and the returning Alessandro Pittin, and Veronica Gianmoena, stronger than Daniela Dejori and Greta Pinzani, won the gold medals.
