Ski jumping | Nordic combined: week of junior world championships in Lake Placid
Host to a stage of the ski jumping world cup in recent days, the New York resort of Lake Placid (United States) is this week hosting the world junior ski jumping and Nordic combined championships. This is the second time since 1986 that the competition has been held at the American venue.
From Wednesday, the individual special jump competitions are scheduled, while the team competitions are scheduled for Friday and the mixed competition for Sunday. In Nordic combined, the team sprints will take place on Thursday, the individual competitions on Saturday and the mixed team competition on Sunday.
