Ski jumping: Nika Prevc does it twice
Late on Wednesday afternoon, the female ski jumpers were competing in Oberstdorf (Germany), the second round of the Two Nights Tour. The day after her success in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany), Slovenia’s Nika Prevc did it again, taking the overall title of the tour.

Fourth after the first run and a jump set at 122 metres, the outgoing winner of the crystal globe was able to do more in the final run. At 134.5 metres, she beat all her rivals and won brilliantly. Norwegians Anna Odine Stroem (129 and 132 metres) and Eirin Maria Kvandal (122.5 and 139 metres) were also on the podium.

Germany’s Katharina Schmid (130.5 and 123.5 metres), winner of the qualifying round earlier in the afternoon, and Selina Freitag (131 and 120 metres), first after one jump, followed in the top 5.

France’s Emma Chervet (92.5 metres), the surprise guest of the competition, lost her KO system to Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (113.5 and 129 metres), who finished seventh, and is now ranked thirtieth. This is her sixth top 30 finish in a World Cup competition, and her first of the winter.
