The World Cup jumpers ended their weekend of competition in Ruka ( Finland) in windy and difficult conditions . The second run of the day had to contend with the vagaries of the weather.
The results of the first race were therefore used to draw up today’s rankings. And it was Andreas Wellinger who found his way back to success. With a jump of 146.5 metres, the German was back to his best. Behind him, Stefan Kraft (145 metres) followed up with another podium finish. Karl Geiger (136.5 metres) completed the day’s top 3.
After his career-best result the day before in the first competition, Valentin Foubert once again hovered around twentieth place. After landing at 121 metres, the Frenchman ended up in twenty-third place. Another encouraging weekend for the young Frenchman, who continues to make progress against the world’s best athletes.
