Last night, the Olympic ski jump in Sapporo (Japan) played host to the second round of the men’s ski jumping world cup. Already the winner on Saturday, local hero Ryoyu Kobayashi did it again, winning with jumps of 132 and 137 metres.
Norway’s Marius Lindvik (136 and 131 metres), in the lead after one run, and Johann Andre Forfang (129 and 136 metres) were on the podium ahead of Austria’s Daniel Tschofenig (127 and 130 metres).
Thirteenth in the first competition, Valentin Foubert (120 and 128.5 metres) took twentieth place this time. Japanese legend Noriaki Kasai (105 metres), 52, came in forty-fifth.
