13:41. A few days ago, on the springboard in Sapporo, Japan, Silje Opseth suffered a nasty fall during official training. She returned to Norway to undergo further tests, including an MRI, and recently received the verdict on her injury.
With an injury to the collateral ligament in her left knee, the Norwegian will not be taking part in the rest of the ski jumping World Cup season. However, despite this setback, the 25-year-old jumper will not undergo surgery. In ten weeks’ time, the young woman will eventually be able to get back on skis.
