Ski jumping: Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes ready for another Olympiad?
February 2022, on the ski jump in Beijing, China, Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes, along withAlexandria Loutitt, Matthew Soukup and Abigail Strate, won the bronze medal in the mixed team ski jumping competition at the Olympic Games.
It was a real surprise for the Canadians, who had taken their place behind the untouchable Slovenia and the Russian Olympic Committee. However, in November 2023, Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes decided to call it a day for a second time after putting his career on hold between March 2014 and July 2015.
But in recent days, the Canadian has revealed on his social networks that he is preparing to make his comeback. In a humorous video made with his young compatriot Alexandria Loutitt, the 34-year-old ski jumper suggests that he has already been training for several weeks.

“Give me a few more weeks. After all, it’s only been two and a half years since I stopped,” he joked on social network X, where a video of him training was posted. On the website of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), the Canadian has regained his status as an active athlete.
