On Wednesday, the Norwegian Ski Federation confirmed a report in the daily VG that it would be paying the legal fees of the jumpers suspended after the World Championships in Trondheim (Norway). ” Everyone is thinking about the athletes and the incredibly difficult situation they are in at the moment,” president Tove Moe Dyrhaug told the newspaper.
This concerns Marius Lindvik and Johann André Forfang, as well as the trio of Robert Johansson, Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal and Robin Pedersen, all of whom are currently banned from competition by the FIS.
However, none of the three members of staff, including coach Magnus Brevig, will have the same support.
It should be noted that the association has itself hired a law firm.
Investigators are currently conducting interviews with the parties involved. It has also been announced that further analyses of the suits concerned will be carried out in Switzerland by experts from the FIS and the Norwegian Ski Federation.
