Germany’s Pius Paschke was in fine form this Saturday afternoon, winning the first individual competition of the ski jumping world cup in Titisee-Neustadt (Germany). In front of his home crowd, the day after his victory in the Super Team, he continued to build on his success.

With two jumps at 144 and 138 metres, the yellow bib triumphed ahead of Switzerland’s Gregor Deschwanden (142.5 and 136.5 metres) and Austria’s Daniel Tschofenig (137.5 and 137 metres).

For the French, Valentin Foubert (116 metres) was forty-sixth, while Jules Chervet (108.5 metres), fifty-first, and Enzo Milesi (101 metres), fifty-third, were eliminated in the early afternoon qualifying round.
