Ski jumping: the Norwegians put on a show in the mixed competition
Already on fire on the small hill last week, the Norwegian ski jumpers are just as much a cut above the rest on the large hill in Trondheim (Norway). Late on Wednesday afternoon, in the mixed competition of the 2025 World Championships, Anna Odine Stroem, Marius Lindvik, Eirin Maria Kvandal and Johann Andre Forfang dominated the proceedings.

Leading by 32.5 points after one round, they eventually won the competition by 61.1 points over Slovenia (Ema Klinec, Domen Prevc, Nika Prevc, Anze Lanisek) and 113.6 over Austria (Eva Pinkelnig, Stefan Kraft, Jacqueline Seifriedsberger, Jan Hoerl).

The Germans(Katharina Schmid, Philipp Raimund, Selina Freitag, Andreas Wellinger), five-time title holders, lost their crown and finished fourth. Japan, the United States, Finland and Poland follow.
France ninth, Switzerland eleventh
The French team missed out on qualification for the final round by just a few points and finished ninth. In detail, Valentin Foubert jumped 116 metres, Enzo Milesi 113.5 metres, Joséphine Pagnier 92 metres and Emma Chervet 89.5 metres.

The Swiss took eleventh place with a quartet made up of Sina Arnet (77 metres), Killian Peier (117 metres), Rea Kinklimann (82 metres) and Gregor Deschwanden (128 metres).
