This Thursday evening, the Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim (Norway) came to a close with the women’s ski jump qualification on the small HS102 hill.
In this round of sixty jumpers, it was Slovenia’s Nika Prevc (99.5 metres) who won. Ultra-dominant on the world circuit for several weeks, she beat Anna Odine Stroem (101.5 metres) by 7.9 points and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (95 metres) by 10.5 points. While there were no real surprises, the qualification of Sweden’s Frida Westman (88 metres), back in the competition after two years of injury, was of particular note.

Among the French competitors, both passed the cut perfectly and easily: Joséphine Pagnier (89 metres) was twenty-second and Emma Chervet (89 metres) thirty-first. The Chamonix native thus qualifies for a World Championship competition for the first time in her career.
