On Saturday night in Trondheim (Norway), the men’s qualification round of the small jump at the world ski jumping championships took place. Johann Andre Forfang (106.5 metres) won this round with the wind against him, ahead of Andreas Wellinger (105.5 metres) and Daniel Tschofenig (102.5 metres).
In the French clan, Courchevel’s Valentin Foubert (100 metres) took an excellent sixth place and easily qualified for the competition scheduled for late afternoon on Sunday. Enzo Milesi (96 metres), making his first start at the World Championships, also made the cut in fortieth place.

In the Swiss ranks, everyone also qualified: Killian Peier (104 metres) was fourth, Gregor Deschwanden (99.5 metres) ninth, Yanick Wasser (105 metres) twelfth and Simon Ammann (97.5 metres) forty-fifth.
