16:56. A case of doping in ski jumping. This week, theUkrainian National Anti-Doping Agency (NADC ) announced the two-year suspension of Tetiana Pylypchuk, a 21-year-old athlete with five World Cup starts to her name.
Tatiana Pylypchuk, who competed at the World Championships in Trondheim (Norway) last winter, tested positive for furosemide, a diuretic that promotes rapid weight loss, in September. Suspended from 17 September 2025 to 16 September 2027, Tatiana Pylypchuk will therefore be unable to take part in the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.

She is not the only Ukrainian ski jumping specialist currently sidelined, as her compatriot Andrii Vaskul, who was spotted at the 2021 World Championships, is currently serving a four-year suspension (21 January 2022/20 January 2026) for failing to comply with the anti-doping regulations.
