23:03. On Sunday, the day after the large hill, it was the small hill competitions that were on the programme for the US Summer Ski Jumping Championships in Lake Placid (USA).
In a competition reduced to one round because of the wind, it was Tate Frantz (96 metres) who won the men’s event, ahead of Jason Colby (92.5 metres) and Andrew Urlaub (92 metres).
In the women’s event, Nordic combined Alexa Brabec (92.5 metres) won gold ahead of Paige Jones (89 metres) and Caroline Chor (89 metres). Tara Geraghty-Moats (88.5 metres) just missed out on bronze.
