16:31. On Sunday night in Poland, the first men’s competition of the Ski Jumping World Cup took place in Wisla (Poland). On the HS134 ski jump, it was Slovenia’s Domen Prevc (136 and 130 metres) who came out on top. This is his first success of the winter and follows in the footsteps of his sister Nika Prevc, who won on the same hill on Friday.

Germany’s Philipp Raimund (129 and 130.5 metres) took second place. It was his second podium finish of the winter after his third place on the small hill in Falun (Sweden). Japan’s Ryoyu Kobayashi (130.5 and 123 metres) rounded off the podium.

Courchevel’s Valentin Foubert (124 and 124.5 metres), who came third in the qualifying round, had a very fine competition, finishing tenth. A very consistent performer with two jumps at 124 and 124.5 metres, the 23-year-old confirmed the good form he showed at Ruka (Finland) last weekend, when he scored his first top 5 finish.
