Ski jumping | Zakopane: Anze Lanisek wins, Valentin Foubert twelfth after a great second jump

18:25. At the end of the day on Sunday, the individual competition of the ski jumping world cup in Zakopane (Poland) took place on the Polish big hill. Slovenia’s Anze Lanisek (138 and 137 metres) was the winner, ahead of Austria’s Jan Hoerl (144.5 and 135.5 metres) and Manuel Fettner (135.5 and 135 metres) by more than 10 points.

For France, Valentin Foubert (122.5 and 141.5 metres), who narrowly qualified for the final round, produced an incredible second jump, enabling him to climb seventeen places to take twelfth place in the final. Jules Chervet (107 metres) is in fiftieth place.
