19:19. The individual competitions of the Polish summer ski jumping championships took place late on Friday in Zakopane (Poland). On the men’s side, there was a big surprise with the victory of 19-year-old Klemens Joniak (104.5 and 102 metres), ahead of Pawel Wasek (102.5 and 99.5 metres) and Dawid Kubacki (twice 98.5 metres).
The women’s competition was dominated by Anna Twardosz (88 and 86 metres). She topped the field throughout the competition and, like last year, won gold ahead of Nicole Konderla (83 and 79.5 metres) and Natalia Slowik (76 and 83.5 metres).
