XC Skiing: Business is booming for the skier
Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo seems just as comfortable on a XC skiing track as in the business world. This winter, with sixteen World Cup victories, the Norwegian experienced success both in sports and economically. According to information from Finansavisen, the company JHK, which he owns, achieved a record profit in the previous year.
With a turnover of 17.3 million Norwegian kroner (approximately 1.5 million euros), Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo’s company records a profit of 9.9 million NOK, roughly 845,000 euros, after tax.
In the accounts of the company JHK, it is primarily the sponsorship contracts of the Trondheim native (Norway) that stand out. In addition to Norsk Kylling and Craft, the five-time Olympic champion is one of the faces of Uno-X. In 2020, Johannes Hoesflot Klæbo signed a five-year agreement worth 25 million NOK with the Norwegian service station chain that sponsors the cycling team Uno-X Mobility.
But in addition to his own company, the 27-year-old founder also holds numerous stocks. Since 2019, he has also been one of the co-owners of the company Hufs, specializing in hair products. Investments that allow him to anticipate his future, as a professional athletic career does not last forever.
